- palmata. Flowers from August to October. Clump forming perrenial with large palmate leaves with jagged edges clothe dark purple stems, from which hang butter-yellow, waxen, shuttlecock-shaped flowers. Hardy. Prefers light shade, in rich acidic moisture retaining soil.
