- tabuliforme. One of the most attractive of the the Aeoniums forming a single very dense flat plate-like
geometrical rosette of succulent green leaves, up to 12 inches in diameter. Never produces offsets in its
normal form so has to be grown from seed and so is only rarely available. Tender,
will take a couple of degrees of frost if kept dry. Prefers full sun, in ordinary well drained soil. Wind tolerant.

for! It mounds up quite well and has rather sticky resinous leaves that

butterflies love. Tender. Likes a warm sheltered position in loamy soil. 2ft
- victoria-reginae. A native from the mountains of northern Mexico. The wide, thick leaves are toothless and spined only at the tip. The leaf margins are marked with broad white stripes. Half hardy and slow growing!. Prefers full sun, in well drained soil or compost. Likes a sheltered position. 1ft
- aristata. Small clumping species bearing orange red flowers in late spring to summer. Seems to be a lot hardier than would appear as its survived quite happily outside in several locations in my garden now for a number of years. Height 6ins.
- vera. Large fleshy grey green leaves make an interesting architectural plant, used medicinally for burns worldwide. Half hardy if kept very dry, this has survived hard frosts outside when kept up against the side of the house. Prefers full sun, in ordinary well drained soil. 1-2ft

Similar in habit to 'Silver Spear' but with a pronounced metallic burgundy sheen to the
foliage. Hardy. Prefers full sun to light shade, in ordinary soil.
